1911 Record of Precinct Two, Journ of Boxford September 26th, 1911.


Prinswant to the foregoing Warrant the inhabitants of Precinct Two, Town of Buford qualified to vote in elections as the law directs assembled at the time and place and for the purpose therein expressed.


At seven o'clock and thirty minutes in the afternoon the Warrant calling the meeting was read by the Precinct Blesk who the publicly opened the ballot box and the same having been examined by the precinct officers and the public was found to be empty,


The ballot boy was immediately locked the register indicating 000. and the keys of the box was taken and retained by Walter. Chadwick the Constable in attendance. The clerk then called upon the inhabitants of said Precinct at seven aclock and minutes in the afternoon qualified by law to vote in elections to give in their ballots for the purpose expressed in said Warrant,


At nine oclock and forty minutes in the afternoon the polls were closed,


The ballet box was found to register (4). The officers in charge of the checkliste in the presence of the other officers and the public counted in a distinct and audible voice the names checked on said lists and found the number to be (41)


The ballot box without being removed from the public view was then opened by the Warden,


The ballots were taken therefrom one by one and credibly counted, and the Clerk announced the whole number to be (41)

At a legally called meeting of the Inhabitants of the Town of Boxford, legally qualified to vote at Elections and in Town affairs, held in the Town Hall in said Boxfor on Monday, March 4th 1912, it being the Annual Town meeting, the following record was made.
