Meeting was called to order by the Moderator William M. Cole, at 2-15 o'clock in the afternoon.

that after School House Number four (4) has been moved , it be remodeled into a two room Building.

that when this School House (No. 4) is moved. that it be moved onto the Gole lot (socalled) on Washington Street.

that the price paid for this Cole lot (so called) by the School Committee shall not exceed four hundred dollars (400.)

Whereas, The intimate relations long held by our deceased towns-man with the citizens of this town render it proper that we should place on record our appreciation of his services as an officer of this town, and his merits as a man, therefore be it
Resolved, That in the death of Francis I. Stevens, this Town looses a citizen who was prompt to advance the interests of his office, one who was wise in councel and fearless in action; an honest and upright man, whose virtues endeared him not only to those associated with him in office, but to all his fellow citizens.
Resolved, That the citizens of Boxford tender their heartfelt sympathy to the widow of our deceased towns-man in her sad affliction.

Voted that the Selectmen and the Overseers of the Poor be authorized to sell the Town Farm, provided they can get not less than fifteen thousand dollars (15000.) for it, and as much more for it as possible.
