The hay for the men whom they employ to work on the roads, and for the teams and implementa to be used thereon, shall be as follows:
For a man, one dollar and fifty cents a day of nine hours.

1899 Record of Precivit Town of Boxford november seventh eighteen hundred and ninetynine, Puravant to the foregoing marrant the inhabitants of Preceit- to qualified to vote as the law directe assembled at the time and place and for the purpose therein expressed. av-nine o clock and thirty minutes in the foremoon the marraul-calling the meeting mar read by the Precist- check who then publicly opened the hallot- box and the same having been personally examined by the election officer and the public was found to be empty.
