1907 Record of Precinct two (2) town of Botford November fifth (5th) nineteen hundred and seven. Priswant to the foregoing warrant the inhabitants of Precinct two (2) qualified to vote as the law directs assembled at the time and place and for the purpose therein expressed,


At ten (10) o clock in the forenoon the


Warrant calling the meeting to was read by the Precinct black who the publicly spend the ballot box and the same having been personally examined by the election officers and the public was found to be empty


The ballot box was then immediately locked the register indicating 000. And the key of the box was taken and retained by Morris & bole the Constable in attendance.


The Clerk then called upon the inhabitants of said Precinct at ten o'clock and four minutes in the forenson qualified by law to vote in elections to give in their ballots for the purposes expressed in said Warrant.


At two o'clock and thirteen minutes in the afternoon the polls were closed.


The ballot box was found to register forty one (41) The officers in charge of the check lists in the presence of the other officers and the public counted in a distinct and audible voice the names checked on said lists and found the number to be forty one.(41)


The ballot box without being removed from the public view, was then opened by the Warden, The ballots were taken there from and audibly counted one by one and the bleck publicly announced the whole number to be forty one (41)


The precinct officers then proceeded to count with the number of votes received by each person with the following result.

that the Salary of the Treasures and Collector be one hundred and fifty dollars $150.00)


that the compensation of all other Town Officers except the Treasures and Collector be the same as last year, which is as follows.


The Treasures and Collector shall receive one hundred and fifty dollars (150.00)


The Highway Surveyors shall receive two dollars a day of nine hours, while in actual service.


The pay for the men whom they employ to work on the roads, and for the teams and implements, to be used therow, shall beas follows:


For a man, two dollars a day of nine hours. For a yoke of Open, two dollars a day of nine hours. For a single house, one dollar and fifty cents a day of nine hours.


For a pair of horses, three dollars a day of nine houve For a plow and of shovel, five cents an hour, each.


And while pathing snow a man, shall be allowed twenty cents an hour; and for a yoke of over, twenty cents an hour; and for a pair of horses, thirty cents an hour.


That all other bills shall be allowed by the Selectmen except their own bills for services rendered to the Town; these bills must be brought before the Town to be allowed.

that the Roads be broken out eight feet wide; and that a man be allowed twenty cents an hour, and that thirty cents an hour be allowed for a pair of horses while pathing snow same as last year.

that the taxes be committed to the Collector on or before the first day of September, next.

And that ta discount of four per cent be allowed on all taxes paid before the First day of October next. and that afterwards two per cent on all taxes hard before the first day of November next.


And that all taxes shall be collected before the first day of January 1909, same as last year.

that the Town authorize their Treasurer under the direction of the Selectmen, to hire money in anticipation of the taxes for the current year, and payable there from:
