Meeting called to order at 1:35 P.M. by Moderator Robert N. Beck. Voters present - 129. Reading of Articles of Warrant was dispensed with as all present had copies.

On motion of William T. Daniels, Jr. that the sum of $3,550.00 be raised and appropriated for the Tree Warden Account. Ballot Vote: YES 67 NO 54 VOTED.
Article 5
Wesley A. Proctor moved that the Town vote to transfer $2,947.96 from the Overlay Surplus Account and to raise and appropriate $2,052.04 to establish a Reserve Fund according to Chapter 40, Section 6 of the General Laws. VOTED.
Article 6
Motion by Albert L. Nash that the Town raise and appropriate the sum of $120.00 to install 3-1000 lumen Street lights and 4- 3500 lumen Street lights as per list in the hands of the Board of Selectmen, as follows :- 1-1000 lumen on Pole 4 Maple Street, 1-1000 lumen Lake Sargent Drive, 1-1000 lumen, Charles Street, 4-3500 lumen at new Housing Project. VOTED.
Article 7
Motion by Albert E. Berthiaume that the Town authorize the Board of Selectmen to enter into and execute on behalf of the Town a lease with one Stanley Nicas under which the Town will lease from said Nicas that part of the Nicas land now being used as a bathing beach, together with approaches to the bathing beach, if such ap- proaches are necessary; that the amount to be paid to said Nicas for said lease is $275; that the lease is to run for a term of one year; and is to be renewed at the end of one year upon option of the Town; that the Town further authorise and empower the Selectmen to procure a policy of liability insurance covering the Town and said Nicas in the use of the property described in said lease. VOTED.

Gerald F. Guilfoyle moved that the Town vote to provide Lifeguards and equipment for the Beaches, also provide transportation from Cherry Valley to Lake Sargent. VOTED.
Article 9
Arthur M. Williamson, Jr. moved that the sum of $17,115.41 be raised and appropriated to pay the Town's share of Pension Fund and Expense Account of the Worcester County Retirement System. VOTED.

Rowden that the Town vote to authorize the Board of Selectmen to appoint a committee of nine members to be called the "Leicester School Building Committee"; said com- mittee to include 4 men experienced as Contractors, or in Engineering to be appointed for the purpose of studying the needs of the Town in reference to increased school facilities and to make recommenda- tions to the Town in reference to what steps should be taken to increase the School facilities.
