Stadttams & Laclede county, "Were held yesterday at Competition, with the Rev. Jobn B. Youngblood of Springfield offi- dating. The last rites were attended by . some 800 friends and relatives troaf all over the surrounding coun- try. The church was filled and many were forced to stand outaide.
Mr. Shamei died of apoplexy brought on by overexertion while be was visiting at the residence of a Delgabor, O. VanstarerD. He Was the youngest of sight children and known to his friends as "Uncle Bob."
-Bites at the grave were in charge Kithe Masonic lodge of Competition. Phonetrees Jebenoa, Pisto and Competition paid thats last respects
Mr. Chamnet was president of thuy Bank of Competition and a member of the good roads committee.
