Mr. Fender is 83 years old and Mrs. Fender 80. They were mar- rled December 5, 1869, Just 60 years ago Tuesday and the above pictures show them as they are today and as they looked in 1868 shortly be- fore they were married. "We might just as well have been married 64 years, Instead of 60", Mr. Fender SATL "We went together for five years and two or three times thought she was going to say some- thing about marrying, but she never did, so'finally I had to suggest it myself." .
