DEATHS
THEODORE THORSON Theodore Thorson. 81, merchant of Strafford and a resident of Greene county for the past 45 years, died at 12 o'clock yesterday et St. John's hospital hero fol- lowing & brief illness. Mr. Thorson was born in Holmsted, Sweden, and came to America in 1869. He walked from Lebanon to Springfield in the days when the rall- way from St. Louis ran only as for as Lebanon. He had been a member 62 years, being one of the oldest members of the lodge. Surviving relatives include Mrs. Thorson, two sons, Anders T. Thor- son of Fort Bmith, Ark . and Willlam P. Thorson of 81. Louis, and two daughters, Mrs. Anne McSweeney of St. Louis and Mrs. Ester Pierce of Springfield. Funeral services will be conducted st 3:30 o'clock Sunday afternoon at the Herman Lohmeyer funeral home, with Dr. C. H. Briggs offi- clating. Burial will be at Maple Park cemetery, with members of the Masonic order in charge at the grave.

Munger. 70, who died auddenly Wednesday while at work in the office of the Rogers and Baldwin Hardware company, where be was employed as auditor. will be held et 4 o'clock this afternoon in the Alma Lohmeyer funeral home. The body will be sent tonight to Pasadena, Cal Final services will be held in the Church of Flowers at Forest Lawn park. Glendale. Cal Mr. Munger is survived by two daugh- ters. Mr&. D. R. Godkin of Minneapolis, Minn .. and Mrs. J. H. Mehl of Los An- geles. He bad been employed by the Rogers and Baldwia company for 13 years Before that he was auditor for the Harry Cooper Supply company. He was born in Wisconsin and came to Missouri about 30 years ago.
