Springfield Woman Dies Just 5 Days After Husband of Same Illness

Just five days after her husband. H. M. Smith. veteran banker. died of pneumonia. Mrs. Sarah C. Smith. . AR, succumbed in her home. 595 East Walnut street, at 8:30 o'clock last night in the same allmen!


Mrs Smith was able In attend the funeral of her husband the day after Christmas. although she com- plained of feeling ill, and Thursday developed unmistakabla 'symptoms of pneumonia. Her resistance was thought to have been seriously low- ered by the strain and worry of her husband's illness.

FOUND IN. BED


The man's body was found on hie bed 'with a bullet wodnid' through the chest by Mra. Wellman when she returned to the home from a short visit away. The Run was. found beside it.
