718. NATHAN4 (Nathaniel3, Jolin2, Jolin1), was b. June 27, 1709, being the sixth child of Nathaniel3 and his second wife, Sarah Nason. Ile in. Catharine Sattalee, 1733, who was b. Feb. 21, 1710 ; had five children at Hampton Falls, and then rem. to Epping He signed the " Association Test" ; will dated July 6, 1775, proved April 21, 1784. She accompanied her son to Sanbornton, and here d., Feb. 16, 1810, ne. 100 years, lacking five days ! (This family - of Nathan+- is differently given in the published pamphlet, " Sanborn Genealogy," 1856. It here appears as in the corrected manuscripts of the same work, left by the late Prof. Dyer II. Sanborn, in Hopkinton.) Of their children :

720. NATHANS, Jr., b. Feb. 22, 1749 ; second and youngest son, fifth child ; inherited his father's homestead in Epping, and paid the legacies ; afterwards rem. to this town, being the first settler on the present Josialı Osgood place (small honse in garden), which he ex- changed with Chase Osgood for the present Tilton farm, north end of Lot No. 55, 2d Div., where his mother d., as above. 735. JEREMIAH S.7 [729] (Sargent", Nathan5, etc.), has been a farmer and cooper, living in Hill, Bristol, New Hampton, and, since 1864, in this town, on the Ebenezer Swain place, Lot No. 39, 2d Div. He finally " conquered all evil habits of intemperance by God's grace," in 1865. He m., 1st, Anna O. Calley, dau. of Richard (see p. 88 [23]), Nov. 30, 1826 (Calley), who d. Jan. 31, 1858, ae. 51-3 ; " Mother, thou art gone to rest"; m., 2d, Mrs. Polly (Swain) Dustin, widow of David (see p. 247 [16]), Oet., 1858. She d. July 29, 1870, and he m., 3d, same year, Mrs. Anna ( Peasley) Eaton, of Hill, who was pre- viously the widow of Ira Ash, blacksmith, of Sanbornton, near Jerry Weeks's. Children (1st wife) :
