SINGING AND MUSIC

Miss Anne Stevenson Teacher of Singing

828 Carnegie Hall

New York City

[[ Have you ever heard a singer whose speaking voice you considered beau- tiful, while you thought the singing voice somewhat harsh?

[[ That voice has not been properly trained from the beginning.

(I Miss Stevenson has made a scientific study under Belari, the teacher of Madame Nordica, of the whole subject of breath control, muscular control, concentration of resonance, and the cultivation of mellowness of quality which gives the ideal tone to the voice.

Frederic Dixon Teacher of Piano

JOSEFFY METHOD 828 Carnegie Hall

New York City

[[ Mr. Dixon presents a quick, concise, scientific method for gaining perfect control of all the muscles of the arms and hands used in piano playing. This method gives independence of the fingers, and assures speed and clearness in scales, arpeggios, trills, octaves and chord passages, thus mak- ing it possible to play artistically and to perform the master pieces according to traditional interpretation, and to raise the general piano playing to a very high standard.
