Arranged consolidation of all city and suburban street railroad lines of Washington, with single exception of Capital Traction, and with- drew, after placing amalgamated lines on good foun- dation. At one time was largely interested in Poto- mac Electric Lighting Co., and effected its consolida- tion with U. S. Elcetric Lighting Co .; maintains a resi- dence in Washington, but has his home at Attiea, N. Y. Eleeted and served as State Senator from the 46th Senate Dist. of N. Y., and was ehm'n N. Y.
