Article 28. VOTED: That the sum of $250.00 be raised and appropriated for a Playground Supervisor at Belcher Park during July and August 1950, money to be expended by the Belcher Park Committee.


Article 29. VOTED: That the sum of $38,500.00 be raised and appropriated from available funds in the treasury for the construction and equipping of a two-door fire station on town-owned land in the north section of the town as pro- posed by the North Randolph Fire Station Committee, and said appropriation be expended by said committee for the purpose of :


1. Hiring a competent architect to design a building of A-1 construction and for


2. Contracting for the erection of a building so de- signed and specified and all bills for services

or materials charged against this appropriation shall be aproved by a majority of said committee.


Article 30. VOTED: That the Town raise and ap- propriate the sum of $1,000.00 for the control, care and eradication of the Dutch Elm Disease in the Town of Ran- dolph under Chapter 761 General Laws, Acts of 1949.


Article 31. VOTED: That the sum of $13,500.00 be transferred from the E. & D. Account, to be expended under the direction of a committee composed of the Board of As- sessors, Chairman of the Finance Committee and five (5) Citizens appointed by the Moderator. The purpose of this committee is to secure the services of a competent survey company to conduct a professional survey of Real Estate Values in the Town. This company to establish adequate maps and an up-to-date card index system.


Article 32. VOTED: That the Town raise and ap- propriate the sum of $2500.00 to publish the history of the Town of Randolph as already compiled.
