Article 30. VOTED: That the Town raise and ap- propriate the sum of $1,000.00 for the control, care and eradication of the Dutch Elm Disease in the Town of Ran- dolph under Chapter 761 General Laws, Acts of 1949.
Article 31. VOTED: That the sum of $13,500.00 be transferred from the E. & D. Account, to be expended under the direction of a committee composed of the Board of As- sessors, Chairman of the Finance Committee and five (5) Citizens appointed by the Moderator. The purpose of this committee is to secure the services of a competent survey company to conduct a professional survey of Real Estate Values in the Town. This company to establish adequate maps and an up-to-date card index system.

Article 1. VOTED UNANIMOUSLY that the Town accept and allow the layout, alteration, relocation and widen- ing of North Main Street on the westerly side thereof from the southeasterly side of Depot Street southerly to a point near the junction of North, Union and North and South Main Streets, as laid out by the Selectmen and reported to the town at this meeting and authorize the Selectmen to acquire by gift or purchase or to take by right of eminent domain in fee or otherwise the land necessary for said lay- out, alteration, relocation and widening and will ratify and confirm the action of its previous Town Meeting, under date of March 20, 1950, in raising and appropriating for the foregoing purposes the sum of Five Thousand Dollars ($5,000.00) for said takings and the expense thereof.
