Article 1. VOTED UNANIMOUSLY that the Town Treasurer with the approval of the Selectmen, be au- thorized to borrow money from time to time in anticipa- tion of the revenue of the financial year beginning Janu- ary 1, 1954 and to issue a note or notes therefor, payable within year, and to renew any notes or notes as may be given for a period of less than one year in accordance with Section 17, Chapter 44, General Laws.

Article 4. VOTED : To hear and act on reports of Town Officers.


Article 5. VOTED: To hear and act on the report of any committee and choose any committee the Town may think proper.


Committees to be Appointed : (1) Committee con- sisting of the Chief of Police, Board of Selectmen and the Finance Committee be appointed to look into the advisability and to have a conference with the Directors of the Randolph Trust Company to secure information as to how low a price the Randolph Trust Company old bank could be purchased for a Police Station for this Town. and to report at a Special Town Meeting to be called by the Board of Selectmen.


(2) 10-Man Committee be appointed by the Mod- erator, to be known as an Industrial Development Com- mittee for the Town of Randolph, consisting of 2 busi- nessmen, real estate man, 2 Members of the Planning Board, banker, and lawyers.


(3) Committee consisting of Planning Board and Finance Committee to look into the advisability and the price that the bank building could be purchased for and used for Town Offices, and report back at the same Spe- cial Town Meeting.
