Married Maria S. Jonas Iric (widow), Feb. 29, 1860 (daughter of Christoffer Knudsen and Mattie Christensen). She was born Oct. 3, 1827, and had a son by a former mar- riage, Adolph Hansen, who bore his father's name; both died.
Called to settle on Little Colorado, Ariz., 1876; hauled stone for Sait Lake Temple 1867; assisted in bringing immigrants to Utah. Resided at St. Joseph, Ariz.
