Drove oxteams to transport worthy poor from Utah to the Missouri river and baek 1864; assisted with his own means to finish the Provo temple; moved from Provo to Idaho in 1898, and there assisted to build the first meeting house at Driggs. Was ordained a high priest and member of the high council when the Teton stake was organized. Moved to Rexburg, Idaho in 1903.
