We have also purchased 25 acres of meadow land and a gravel pit which have proven a great asset for use of the sewer beds. By purchase of this land it saves us a rental of $50.00 per year.
This year we would like to flush out our main trunk lines as they have been badly neglected and tree roots are beginning to cause stoppages.
In order to carry out the work this year, we ask for an appropriation of $1000.
Respectfully submitted,
IRA F. PENNIMAN, FRED A. SMITH, PETER PEDERZINI,
Water and Sewerage Commissioners

$82.40 has been turned over to the Town Treasurer for fines collected.
New draperies have been placed in the windows of the library this year.
The library has been opened at two o'clock this year and it has been found to be very convenient for both adults and students. It is felt that the move has been a very satisfactory one.

REPORT OF THE CEMETERY COMMISSIONERS
To the Honorable Board of Selectmen :
The usual routine work was carried on in the cemetery as has been done in previous years.
We would like to purchase and erect a fence that would start near the pond and follow the boundary line to Bridge Street continuing along Dale Street joining the present. good pieces of fencing.
A fence of this kind would prevent animals from roam- ing onto our lots.
We therefore recommend an appropriation of $2500.
Respectfully submitted, JOSEPH A. ROBERTS, JOHN R. MILLER, PETER PEDERZINI, Cemetery Commissioners
