Article 6. Voted as recommended that the taxes shall be paid in two equal payments, July 1, 1939 and October 1, 1939, and that the Collector shall receive 1% for the 1939 taxes.

Clerk of the Board of Registrars be paid $25.00 per year.
Each of the three Registrars be paid $15.00 per year.
The Board of Registrars apportion the sum $60.00 per year for the listing of residents under Chapter 440, General Laws.

In the name of the Commonwealth you are directed to notify and warn the inhabitants of the Town of Medfield, qualified to vote in elections and in town affairs, to meet at the Town Hall, in said Medfield on Monday, the 10th day of April, A.D. 1939 at 7:30 P.M. then and there to act on the following articles:
Article 1. To see if the Town will vote to authorize the Assessors to use a sum not exceeding $7,500.00 from free cash in the Treasury for the reduction of the 1939 tax rate.
Article 2. To see if the Town will vote to amend the vote passed under Article 4 of the warrant for the Annual Town Meeting held March 20, 1939 whereby the sum of $22,000.00 was appropriated for maturing debt by substituting in its place the sum of $18,000.00.
Article 3. To see if the Town will vote to authorize the Treasurer to refund in accordance with the provisions of Chapter 63, Acts of 1939, the emergency storm damage loan authorized under a vote of the town on October 11, 1938, determine what portion of said loan shall be raised in the tax levy of 1939 or take any action in relation thereto.
Article 4. To see if the Town will vote to transfer the sum of $150.00 from the Overlay Reserve for the 1935 Overlay. (Assessors)
Article 5. To see if the Town will vote to authorize the Water Commissioners to sell surplus pipe and fittings belonging to the Town and which they deem advisable to sell, or do or act anything in relation thereto.
