And you are directed to serve this Warrant by posting attested copies thereof, in at least six public places in said Town, and in such other public places as the Selectmen may designate, seven days at least before the time of holding said meeting. A true copy. Attest : . Albert G. Tedford, Constable of Lynnfield.
Our recommendations total $111,682.54
We are of the opinion the net amount to be raised by taxation will be approximately as follows:
Add state and county taxes $ 12,317.46
Overlay
$124,000.00 $ 2,000.00
$126,000.00
Deduct estimated credits
$ 28,000.00
Deduct polls
$ 98,000.00 $ 1,400.00
$ 96,600.00
Taxable property
$3,801;861.00
Tax rate. $ 25.41
Should anything be done to enlarge schooling facilities it would, of course, add to the tax rate, but the Finance Committee believe that the additional cost would not exceed $1.00 per M on the tax rate and that the notes can be placed at such a low rate of interest at the present time that the carrying charge a year would be very small indeed. Build- ing costs are not likely to be lower in the immediate future.
