TEMPORARY NOTES

The following Temporary Notes of the Town of Lynnfield were sold in Anticipation of Revenue to be received:

March 22, 1940, $25,000.00 payable November 27, 1940, interest rate 0.10%. This note paid November 26, 1940.

December 11, 1940, $30,000.00 payable December 2, 1941, interest rate 0.10%.

This latter note was sold at this time to take advantage of the very low rate of interest. There is good reason to believe rates will be much higher by Spring of 1941. It is anticipated that no additional financing will be needed during 1941, unless extraordinary expenditures are voted at a Town Meeting.
