ANNUAL TOWN MEETING
Subsequent meeting for election of officers, Saturday, March 8, 1952.
Polls open 12 Noon to 8 P.M. then and there to act on the following article:
Article 53. To bring to the Election Officers their votes, all on one ballot, for the following named officers, to wit: One Selectman for three years, one Assessor for three years, one member of the Board of Public Welfare for three years, Town Clerk for two years, Town Treasurer, Highway Surveyor, Tree Warden and Moderator for one year; one member of the School Committee for three years; one member of the Board of Health for three years; one Trustee of the William J. Leonard Memorial Library for three years; one member of the Board of Water Commissioners for three years.
Pursuant to the Warrant, the voters met at Cushing Memorial Town Hall, Saturday, March 8, 1952 at 12 o'clock Noon. Polls closed at 8 P.M. Moderator Small was in charge and swore in the following Election Officers: Ethel Turner, Mattie Henderson, Annie Capell, Bobbe Miner Julia Rosebach, Ruth Murray Carrie Newcomb, Lester West, Mabel Szyd- lowski, Ralph Coleman and Harry Pinson, the latter in charge of the ballot box.

mentioned therein and took the following action: Polls opened at 6 A.M. and closed at 8 P.M.
Thomas T. Barstow was the presiding Election Officer. Other Election Officers were Horace Ross, Earle Allen, Jane Baird, Ethel Turner, Mattie Henderson, Bobbe Miner, Annie Capell, Charlotte Snow, Ruth Murray, Elizabeth J. Power, Edna Douglas, Carol Marsh, Julia Rosebach, Alice C. Merritt, Mabel Szydlowski, and Harry Pinson, the latter in charge of the ballot box.
The ballot box registered 1601, a difference of 4, due to the fact that the box was in need of minor repairs.
Upon being canvassed and counted in open meeting, the result was found to be as follows.

To either of the Constables of the Town of Norwell in the County of Plymouth and the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, GREETING:
In the name of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, you are hereby directed to notify and warn the inhabitants of the Town of Norwell, qualified to vote in Elections to meet in the Cushing Memorial Town Hall, on Satur- day June 7, 1952.
