Article 36. Instructions to Elected Town Officers. (2) And that such documents ought either to be distributed to all the voters of the town prior to the meeting at which such articles are to be acted on, or else should be available at the Town offices for distribution to all voters who ask for them;
(3) And further that it is desirable that the Town possess a large map or maps of the Town of Norwell of such size as to be clearly legible from the rear of the Town-meeting room when placed on the stage thereof, and that such maps should be of such a nature that temporary marks, legible from the rear of said room, can be made upon them for the purpose of facilitating discussion of articles in such warrants.
(4) And further, that the Selectmen should consider the advisability of including in some future Town-Meeting warrant an article providing for the raising and appropriating of a sum of money for the procurement of such maps, and the preparation of such documents as are referred to in this resolution."
Ralph Coleman made the following motion: "I move to in- struct the Selectmen to register the opposition of the Town of Norwell to any further subsidies for the Old Colony Branch of the New York, New Haven and Hartford Railroad, with the appropriate legislative representatives from this area."
