for the some of sixteen pounds in hand payd by Rodger Smith of East hampton on Long Island hath sould and Confirmed unto the said Rodger Smith and his Heires for ever : a par- cell of upland Lying in the said Elizabeth Towne and Butting against the Towne Mill River and Contayning thirty one Acres be it More or less as also foure Acres of Meddo butting upon the bound Crecke both which parcels He formerly sould unto David Smith and bought them again Refferance to the said Deed being had for the peticuler butting and bounding of the said Land and Meddo To have and to hold the same forever and doth warrant as attest his hand and seale set to this twenty third day of October Anno qr Dom 1690
