Joshua Garlick of the towne of Easthampton in the County of Suffulk sendeth greeting in our Lord God everlasting Know yea yt for divers good Causesand Conciderations him the said Joshua Moveing but More espesially for and in Consideration of the Love and affection which he beareth unto his well be- loved Grand Childe Richerd Shaw of the same towne and County upon Long Island: have fully frecly & absolutly given Granted Alenated and Confirmed unto him the said Richerd Shaw foure Acres of upland beit more or Lese in the addition unto the hom lot of the said Garlick Butted and Bounded as it now is in the posession of said Richard Shaw & about five acres & half of upland in the estern plaines Bounded with the land of John Squire to the Eastward the Land of the said Richerd Shaw to the Westward and Town high waies to ye north & Southward also a peece of Medo Containing three acrees be it more or less neere the Northwest Creeke or har- bour Bounded by the Medo that was Birdsalse now in the posession of Robert more to the Southwestward and northest- ward with the Medo that Belonged to Richerd Stretton De- ceased, Northwest with the said harbour and Southeast with the upland

Book A, Page 51 .- To All Christian people to whome these presents shall Come I Joshuah Garlik of Easthampton in the County of Suffolk In New England send greeting Know yea that I the said Joshuah Garlik for and In Consideration of the Love and good will which I bare to my grand Child Richard Shaw of Easthampton in the County Afore said Have given and granted and by these presents do freely Clearly and Ab- solulty give and grant to ye said Richard Shaw fore Acres of Land be it more or les in the Addition unto ye home lot of ye said Joshuah Garlik and about five Acres and half of land be it more or les in the Eastarne plains Also a peece of Meadow Containing three Acres be it more or les neare ye norwest Creek of this town I give and bequeath unto ye sd Richard Shaw all my housing and home Land in this town and all ye five Acres and half of Land at ye walnots In ye Eastwarn plains Also five acres and half of Meadow at Acabonik as Also that devision of madow at Cranbery hole as also half my Com- monage in this town and a quarter of a share at Meantauk I Bequeath all the above mentioned unto ye sd Richard Shaw his Heires Executors and from hence forth at his and theire dispose for ever Absolutly without any Manner of Condition
