Book A, page 9 .- At a town Meeting Aprill ye 8th 1701 In order to the perfecting the aforementioned Division of Land the aforesaid servayers presented a Lyst of severall par- sels of Land to the Quantity of 845 acres and did there then agree by a Major vote that the afore Mentioned Division should allow but one Acre to an acre allotment and whereas there is 200 Acres servayed on Indian well plaine it was then ordered that Layers out should shorten that tract of land at the beach end of the same so as to Improve no more of the length therof then sd division will the which is to end upon that pisce of Land ; it was Also ordered at the said Meeting by a Major vote that William Schellinx Ebinezer Leeke senior and Shubael Talmage (alwaies haveing to their As- sistance either Nathanaell Talmage James Diamond or Ben- amen Osborne:) ear ; and shall be The persons to Measure and Marke out : to every Man his due proportion of said division of Land According to wahat Apears to be his Allot- ment and to perform the same to each person In such plase as their Lott directs begining at the first pisc Mentioned in the Afore mentioned Lyst and so from that to the Next: and in Like order thorough out the said Lyst till each person Conserned have his Due proportion as aforsaid.
