To the Sherriff of the County of Suffulk greeting we Comand you that whereas Nathaniell Sil- vester of Shelter Island hath obtained a Judgment of the Court of the Court of Comon pleas held at Southold Septem- ber the 29th 1691 against Stephen Sally Late of Shelter Island aforesd for the sum of eighty pounds : (and costs & ; ) Execu- tion being suspended till the next Court of Comon pleas held at Southampton March the 30th 1692 where execution was granted to the said Nathaniell for the said sum of eighty pounds and costs alowed against the estate of the said Stephen Solly Solly, he the said Nathaniell giveing in securyty to be Responcible for the same In cease the Judgement be Reverced with in one year and a day : Which he hath Accordingly pr formed you ar therefore Required as aforsd to Levy the afore sd sum of Eighty pounds by way of execution upon the prop- per Estate of him the said Stphen Solly wheresoever to be found within your bailywicke for the use and behoofe of him the said Nathaniell Silvester : together with Costs of sute as it is allowed by said Courts and your owne fees and Incidentall

This 26th day of My 1692 I have Levied upon the within Execution twenty sheep and one lamb in the hands of Levetn at Thomas Chatfield for ten pounds due to the said Stephen Solly within mentioned from the said Chatfield and have taken them upon the appriseall of Robert Moore & Jos- eph Osborne by us Mutually Chosen who have vallued the said sheep at ten pounds in Comon pay attest Josiah Hobert Sherriff


The above is a true Coppy of the Execution agnst the Estate of Stephen Solly & how fare I have acted in it this 26t May 1692 pr Jos. Hobart Sherriff. [Signature.]

Book 4, Page 130 .- These presente witneseth yt James Bird & Robert Kedee haveing taken in to their ceare : as keepers of the town flock or flockes of sheep belonging to this Town: do both of them Ingage Cearfully to keep the sd sheep them selves for this year onward untill the 25th of December next Incuing the date heer of where and at the appointment of the trustees and for their Reward for so Cearfully keeping the sd sheep they are to have six penc for each head so keppt rames excepted : but in cease the sd sheep be ordered to go in two flockes at Meantack their hire is to be seven penc pr head as above sd also the said sheep keepers doe Ingadge to secure ye sd sheep from doining dammage in the Indian fields also if any dammage Com to the said flock or any peart of them throw their neglect of duety as keepers or faithfull sheep heards they are to Make it good to the persons so dammified :
