The said Richer Shaw and Seth Parsons did of their owne volluntary will and Consent both of them declare to Me that thay had agred to divide the said Land betwixt them In Man- ner as followeth : Viz: the said Seth Parsons Is to have three Rodd : or poles at the Northern end Measured off of the Langth of the whole pice from the said Samuell parsonses land eastward quite across to the land now belonging unto Robert Parsons sonn ot the said Deceased John parsons : and besides the said three Rodds : he the said Seth parsons Is to have one fifth peart of all the said third peart of the whole Alotment it being Measured from the Southermost end of the same till they Com to the said three poles taken off alredy as above-mentioned which three poles Is to begin at the two Northermost stakes &c.

To all Christian people to whome these presents May Come Thomas Edwards of the Town of Easthampton in ye County of Suffolk upon ye Isl- and of Nassaw sendeth Greeting : Know yea that for divers good Causes him thereunto moving but more Espesially for and in Consideration of ye some of Eight pounds to him in hand paid by Nathaniell Barnes of ye aforesd place hath bar- gained & sould unto ye said Nathaniel Barnes one Quarter part of that half share of Land and Commonage that was given by ye Town of Easthampton unto Nathaniel foster at Meantauke and by him sould unto William Edwards and by said william Edwards unto Thomas Edwards To Have And To Hold forever and doth warrant. As witness his hand and fixed his seale this Nineteenth day of March 1696-7.
