Thomas squire deceased and Now In the possession of Cap- tain Josiah Hobart two Acres of said lott to Come Into the possescion of the" Aforesaid Nathanael Huntting In June Next and the Remainer at the expiration of the said Captain Ho- barts Lease being from June the Eighteenth 1697: for the terme of ten yeares the said lot of Land being In the Town of Easthampton and being by estimation ten Acres of Land be the same More or Less as it is bounded on the South with the Land of Daniel Bishop and on the North with the Land now in possession of Ephraim Edwards; on the East with the great Swamp, and on the west with the Maine street of the said Town Alwais provided the said Mr. Nathanael Hunt- ting shall settle In the said Town of Easthampton, and Re- ceive Ordination to the work of the ministry among them.
Also we give unto the said Nathanael Huntting after his acceptance of the work of the Ministry, while he Continues in it amongst us, the whole use Benifit and Improvement of that peice of Land, Commonly Called the Calf pasture, Ad- joyning to the Lot of Stephen Hedgis, and also the use of all other Lands set apart by the Town for the ministry.
Also it was then unanimosly agreed to by a Major Vote that said Town of Easthampton shall and Will provide the said Nathaneell Hunttin Sufficiently with fier wood for the use of his family as he has ocation so long as he shall Con- tinue to Carry on the worke of the ministry of the Gospell In the said Town.
