1. JUDSON, William, is said to have been born in Yorkshire, England, came with his family to America in 1634, and settled first in Concord, Mass., where he remained four years, then came to Hartford and in the spring of 1639, came with others to Stratford. His will was dated Dec. 20, 1661, and the inventory of his estate was taken Dec. 15, 1662. (See page 110 of this book.) He had two wives ; Grace, who came with him to this country and died in New Haven Sept. 29, 1659, and Elizabeth, wid. of Benjamin Wilmot. He died in New Haven July 29, 1662. The will of his widow Elizabeth was dated Jan. or Feb., 1685, and the inventory taken Nov. 10, 1685.

He left a wife Mary, who may have been a second wife to him. She m., prob., in 1673, Eliasaph Preston. Thos. Kimberly's inventory was {160-16.
