Article 87. To see if the Town will vote to amend the zoning By-Laws by making the following revisions: Section 5, paragraph (a) Minimum lot area. "In a resi- dential district or zone no dwelling shall be erected or maintained except on lots containing not less than 20,000 sq. ft. each, having a frontage of not less than 125 ft. each and a depth of not less than 160 feet. Not more than one dwelling shall be erected on each such lot. The foregoing provision shall not apply to lots recorded as such with Norfolk Deeds or registered as such in Norfolk Registry District on the effective date of this By-Law.


Notwithstanding the above provisions, where the literal enforcement of this section would substantially diminish the value of the land, because of the conforma- uon of the land, the shallowness or other irregularity of the lot boundaries, or the curved, or other peculiarity of street location, or other valued reason the owner thereof may apply to the Board of Appeals for relief and the said board may grant, upon equitable terms and conditions, such relief as will carry out the intent of the By-Law but in no event reduce the frontage to less than 110 feet, as petitioned for by the Planning Board.

Article 89. To see if the Town will vote to amend section F of the Zoning By-Law by adding : On lots in any district, no fence, shrub, tree, bush or other vegetation shall be permitted to be erected, planted, or maintained in excess of a height of 15 feet within 25 feet of a street line, as petitioned for by the Board of Selectmen.


BY-LAWS


Article 90. To see if the Town will vote to establish an ordinance or amend such ordinances as necessary to establish a maximum carrying load on Class B type of streets not to exceed a maximum of 5 ton 10,000 lbs. and any violators shall be prosecuted by the laws and fines established by the ordinances, as petitioned for by Eugene F. Bessette and others.


Article 91. To see if the Town will vote to establish such ordinances and Rules or amendments to require that all home owners be held responsible for the snow removal from the sidewalks in front and sides of their property. That the failure of the owners to remove such snow will result in proper legal prosecution and fines for each day that the menaces remain, as petitioned for by Eugene F. Bessette and others.


Article 92. To see if the Town will vote to accept an act passed by the General Court, in the year Nineteen Hundred and Fifty seven, entitled "An Act removing from

Civil Service, the positions of Call Fire Fighters, in the Town of Randolph, with respect for appointments thereto hereafter made.", as petitioned for by Carlton P. Harris, Chief of the Randolph Fire Department.


Article 93. To see if the Town will vote to authorize the Town Treasurer with the approval of the Selectmen, to borrow money from time to time in anticipation of the revenue of the financial year beginning January 1, 1957, and to issue a note or notes therefor, payable within year, and to renew any note or notes as may be given for a period of less than one year in accordance with Section 17, Chap- ter 44, of the General Laws.


Article 94. To see if the Town will vote to raise and appropriate money to defray the General Town Ex- penses for the current year, as recommended by the Town Manager, the Selectmen and the Heads of the various Departments.


And you are directed to serve this Warrant by posting attested copies thereof at the Town Hall, at the Town Clerk's Office, at the Post Office and at six other public places in the Town, seven days at least, before day and hour of said meeting.

In August 1947 she was appointed by the Board of Selectmen to the office of Clerk of Precinct 1 and served until her decease.
