Article 68. To see if the Town of Randolph will vote to raise and appropriate the sum of one thousand dollars ($1,000) to continue to help on the building of the Little League Field of North Randolph, as petitioned for by Joseph A. Marshall, Jr. and others.

Article 69. To see if the Town will vote to raise and appropriate the sum of $600 for the services of a qualified Life Guard, to facilitate safe bathing and swimming for the residents of Randolph at Ponkapoag Pond, or take any other action in relation thereto, as petitioned for by William E. Article 70. To see if the Town will vote to recom- mend that the new grammar school, now being erected

Said Commissioners duties to include the maintaining of and improving all present town parks, sport and playground facilities and to offer assistance to all Town non profit organizations with their sport facility maintenance, development and up- keep. To investigate land sites for the purpose of se- curing and developing or creating suitable parks, play- grounds or sports facilities. That, in order that these duties may be carried out, a sum of $5,000 be appro- priated to accomplish same, as petitioned for by Mit- chell J. Goodhue and others.

Agatha Sullivan, widow of Mark J. Sullivan, a former member of the Police Department of the Town who was severely and permanently injured in the course of his duties on or about August 14, 1948, and who died on May 8, 1957, so long as she remains unmarried, an an- nuity, not to exceed one thousand two hundred fifty dollars ($1,250), the same to be paid in equal monthly installments commencing with the first day of the month next following the date of the passage of this article. The fund from which this annuity is to be paid shall be designated as the Mark J. Sullivan Annuity Fund. The payment of this annuity shall be subject to the approval of the Legislature, as petitioned for by Ralph P. Condlin and others.
Article 73. VOTED: That the Town raise and ap- propriate the sum of $1,250.00 from its revenues and pay to Janet Agatha Sullivan, widow of Mark J. Sulli- van. The fund from which this annuity is to be paid shall be designated as the Mark J. Sullivan Annuity Fund.

SPECIAL ARTICLE
To see if the town will vote to authorize the Town Treasurer, with the approval of the Selectmen, to bor- row money from time to time in anticipation of the rev- enue of the financial year starting January 1, 1958, and ending December 31, 1958 and extending from January 1, 1959 to the date of conclusion of the Annual Town Meeting of 1959, and to issue note or notes therefor pay- able within one year and to renew any note or notes as may be given for a period of less than one year in accord- ance with Section 17 Chapter 44 of the General Laws. And to further authorize the treasurer to negotiate, with the approval of the Selectmen, with any Federal agency that this Town may deem advisable in the interests of obtaining Federal low cost money for schools, sewers and other authorized projects.

Meeting called to order at 8:00 P. M. by Moderator Carr. No quorum present. Motion made by Mr. Lowd to adjourn to 8:15 P. M. Reconvened at that time. Mr. Carr opened meeting with short prayer. Call of meeting and return of service read by Edward T. Clark.

Article 1. To see if the Town wil vote to transfer from the E&D Account the some of $1,000.00 for sidewalk construction on the easterly side of North Main Street from Wordsworth Street to Oliver Street in conjunction with funds to be expended by the Mass. Dept. of Public Works, as petitioned for by the Board of Selectmen.

Article 5. To see if the Town will vote to raise and appropriate or transfer from available funds a sum of money to drain or fill in the area adjacent to the rear of 28 Webster Street down to 58 Webster Street, North Ran- dolph, as petitioned for by William Nazzaro and others.

Mclaughlin and others.
