Pursuant to a Warrant issued by the Selectmen and signed on ninth day of February, A. D. 1959, duly posted by Patrick T. McDonnell, Constable, the voters of Ran- dolph assembled on the second day of March, 1959 in Randolph High School for Precincts 1 and 2, in the Lyons School for Precincts 3 and in Devine School for Precinct 4.
The election paraphernalia was given by the Town Clerk to the Wardens of Precinct 1, Precinct 2, Precinct 3 and Precinct 4 and receipts taken therefor.

ANNUAL TOWN MEETING March 16, 1959
Pursuant to a Warrant issued by the Board of Sel- ectmen and dated the twentieth day of February, 1959 A. D., duly posted by Patrick T. McDonnell, Constable. the citizens of Randolph assembled at the Randolph High School Auditorium, Memorial Parkway, in Randolph on the sixteenth day of March, 1959.
Moderator Carr called the meeting to order at 8:00 P. M. Finance Committee Chairman Courtney moved ad- journment until 8:15 P. M. VOTED.
Moderator Carr reconvened meeting at 8:15 P. M. Newly elected Town Meeting members were sworn in by Moderator Carr. Entire audience stood for a minute of silence in memory of departed. The meeting opened with a brief non-sectarian prayer.
Town Clerk Clark read return of service for War- rant. Moderator called attention to the members of Ran- dolph High School Senior Class seated in the rear of the hall and welcomed them and all others to the meeting.

Mr. Hoey, member of Personnel Board, reported in the absence of Chairman Murray, ill at home in bed.

Selectman Kiley moved a committee be appointed to look into the possibility of establishing a Town owned Municipal lighting plant; committee to be composed of Town Engineer and four other citizens. Motion CARRIED.
Article 2. To hear and act on reports of Town Offi- cers.

Article 3. To see if the Town will vote to raise and appropriate or transfer from available funds the sum of $374.04 to pay an unpaid bill for a previous year as peti- tioned for by the Board of Selectmen.

Article 11. VOTED UNANIMOUSLY that the sum of $4,800 be transferred from the E & D Account to install a 6 inch Water main, with necessary gates and fittings, on Harriet Street (north) from Pond Street, a distance of 1050 feet.
Article 12. To see if the Town will vote to instruct the Board of Water Commissioners to install a 6 inch water main, with necessary gates and fittings, on High Street from Edwin Street to Eugenia Street, a distance of 425 feet and raise and appropriate money therefor, as petitioned for by the Board of Water Commissioners.

Article 14. To see if the Town will vote to instruct the Board of Water Commissioners to install a 6 inch water main, with necessary gates and fittings, on Stough- ton Street, between existing dead ends, a distance of 275 feet, and raise and appropriate money therefor, as peti- tioned for by the Board of Water Commissioners.

Article 19. VOTED UNANIMOUSLY that the sum of $14,000.00 be transferred from the E & D Account to improve surface drainage.
Article 20. To see if the Town will vote to raise and appropriate or borrow the sum of $10,000.00 for drainage work on Mary Lee Brook under Chapter 91. The Town's share of expense under this article will be $10,000.00, as petitioned for by the Board of Selectmen and the Town Manager.

Article 21. To see if the Town will vote to raise and appropriate a sum of money to install a drainage system on Clark Street from Bartlett Road to Porter St., as peti- tioned for by Herbert E. Murray and others.
