The entire performance of "The Great Southern Minstrels" this evening is re- ported to be entirely novel in conception and execution from start to finish, The musical excellence of the first part is shown by the names of such vocalists as Tommy Mckenus, the celebrated boy baritone; Chas, P. Van, S. J. Beunett, Joseph Lè Clair, A. L. Comstock, W. B. Fretse and Paul Hickman. The olio as presented by this company is also said to be a skillful kaleidescopic melange of great worth and merit.
Minstrelsy is well liked bere end the promise of anything new In this popular amusement is a pleasure looked forward to with a great deal of anticipation. "The Great Southern Minstrels" come heralded as being up to date and of a novel order, as well as the most complste and largest entertainment on the road.
