To either of the Constables of the Town of Medfield, in said County, greeting:
In the name of the Commonwealth you are directed to notify and warn the inhabitants of the Town of Medfield, qualified to vote in elections and in town affairs, to meet at the Town Hall, in said Medfield on Monday the third day of March A.D. 1947 at 6:00 A.M. then and there to act on the following articles:
Article 1. To choose all Town Officers required to be elected annually by ballot, to wit:
One Moderator, One Town Clerk, One Treasurer, Three' Constables, One Tree Warden, all for one year.
One Selectman, One Assessor, One Member of the School Committee, Two Trustees of the Public Library, One Col- lector of Taxes, One Member of the Board of Health, One Cemetery Commissioner, One Member of the Water and Sewer Board, One Member of the Board of Public Welfare, all for three years.
One Member of the Planning Board for five years.
The polls to be opened at 6:00 A.M. and may be closed at 2:00 P.M.
Article 2. To choose Fence Viewers, Field Drivers and Pound Keeper.
Article 3. To see if the Town will vote to accept the re- ports of the several Town Officers for the past year.

Article 6. To see if the Town will vote to authorize the Treasurer with the approval of the Selectmen to borrow money from time to time in anticipation of the revenue of the financial year beginning January 1, 1947, and to issue a note or notes therefor, payable within one year, and to renew any note or notes as may be given for a period of less than one year in accordance with Chapter 44, Section 17, General Laws.
Article 7. To determine in what manner the taxes shall be collected for the ensuing year; also determine what per- centage shall be allowed the collector for the ensuing year.
Article 8. To see what compensation the town will allow the Members of the Fire Department for the ensuing year.
Article 9. To see if the Town will authorize the Collector to use all means in the collection of taxes as the Treasurer might if elected to that office.
Article 10. To see if the Town will vote to authorize the Board of Selectment to appoint one of its members as Clerk of the Highway Department, or do or act anything in relation thereto.
Article 11. To see what compensation the Town will allow the Clerk of the Highway Department for the ensuing year.
Article 12. To see if the Town will vote to raise and appropriate an additional sum of $2500. for the completion of the construction of Hospital Road providing the State contrib- utes an additional $17,000. and the County an additional $6500. for this purpose, or do or act anything in relation thereto.
Article 13. To see if the Town will vote to rescind the vote passed under Article 16 of the warrant for the Annual Town Meeting held March 4, 1946, whereby $4,000. was raised and appropriated for the construction of Hospital Road providing the State contributes $8,000. and the County contributes $4,000. for this purpose. The unexpended balance of the appropriation to be transferred into the excess and deficiency fund.
Article 14. To see if the Town will vote to transfer a sum of money from the Road Machinery Fund to the High- way Machinery Operating Account to defray expenses for the operation and maintenance of Highway Machinery.

Article 15. To see if the Town will vote to raise and ap- propriate the sum of $700. for the improvement of Chapter 90 Roads, said money to be used in conjunction with any money allotted by the State or County or both, for this pur- pose, or do or act anything in relation thereto.
Article 16. To see if the Town will vote to raise and ap- propriate a sum of money for the purpose of installing an underground drainage system along Oak Street, or do or act anything in relation thereto.
Article 17. To see if the Town will vote to raise and ap- propriate a sum of money to construct an asphalt sidewalk on the north side of Cottage Street, or do or act anything in relation thereto.
Article 18. To see if the Town will vote to raise and ap- propriate a sum of money to construct an asphalt sidewalk on the north side of West Main Street from the NY NH & H RR Co. to the stone bound on the property of Bertha K. Wilkins, or do or act anything in relation thereto.
Article 19. To see if the Town will vote to raise and ap- propriate a sum of money to construct an asphalt sidewalk on the west side of Vinald Road replacing the concrete walk, or do or act anything in relation thereto.
Article 20. To see if the Town will vote to raise and ap- propriate a sum of money to construct an asphalt sidewalk on the west side of the road connecting Mitchell and Cottage Streets, or do or act anything in relation thereto.
Article 21. To see if the Town will vote to raise and ap- propriate the sum of $460. for the purpose of building new steps at the entrance of the Town Hall, or do or act any- thing in relation thereto.
Article 22. To hear and act on the report of the com- mittee appointed under Article 30 of the Annual Town Meet- ing of 1946 to present plans and recommendations at a future Town Meeting for an appropriate War Memorial for World War II Veterans.
Article 23. To hear and act on the report of the com- mittee appointed under Article 27 of the Annual Town Meet- ing of 1946 to inquire into the advisability of procuring and selecting a suitable location for new permanent Honor Rolls for Civil War, Spanish War, World War I and World War II Veterans.
Article 24. To see if the Town will vote to raise and ap- propriate the sum of $3500. to continue the development of the New Athletic Field on Adams Avenue, or do or act any- thing in relation thereto.
Article 25. To hear and act on the report of the com- mittee appointed under Article 40 of the Annual Town Meet-

ing to work in conjunction with the School Committee on the project of grading and seeding the New Athletic Field located on Adams Avenue.
Article 26. To hear and act on the report of the com- mittee appointed under Article 33 of the Annual Town Meet- ing empowered to act on making arrangements for the erec- tion of a permanent Honor Roll to be located at Baxter Park in honor of World War II Veterans.
Article 27. To hear and act on the report of the com- mittee appointed under Article 34 of the Annual Town Meeting to report at a future Town Meeting as to the advisability of a new Fire Station for the Town of Medfield.
Article 28. To hear and act on the report of the com- mittee appointed under Article 1 of the Special Town Meeting held December 16, 1946, giving the authority to carry out the provisions of Chapter 372, Acts of 1946, said committee to be known as the Medfield Veterans' Housing Committee.
Article 29. To see if the Town will vote to appoint a committee of five and authorize it to make arrangements to spend money appropriated under Article 4 for the observance of Memorial Day.
Article 30. To hear and act on the report of the Board of Health authorized and instructed under Article 47 of the Annual Town Meeting of 1946 to investigate the possibilities of a systematic collection of garbage in the Town of Medfield.
Article 31. To see if the Town will vote to raise and ap- propriate the sum of $600. for the purchase of new fire hose. (Fire Engineers)
Article 32. To see if the Town will vote to install one electric light near the corner of Frairy and Dale Streets, the cost of said installation to be taken out of the appropriation for Street Lighting under Article 4. (Petition)
