INFLUENZA TAKES SECOND IN FAMILY


Small Son Dies of Disease Within Less Than Week of Mother's Death


Influenza and pneumonia yester- terday claimed the second member of an Ozarks farm family with the death here of William Daniel White, Jr., four years old, who died at the home on an uncle. L. L. Gfore, 1321 Frisco avenue.


A third member of the family. Mary White, an Infant 14 months old, is near death at the Olore home from pneumonia following an attack of In- fluenza.


Mother Died Recently


The children's mother, Mra. Beatrice White, died January 12 at the Glore home of Influenza.


Two other amall children of the White family, Norbin and Beatrice, are recovering from serious illness of tn- fluenza.


The small boy is survived by his father and the three brothers and alsters. The entire family was moved Into Springfield in an ambulance when all became bediset with in- fluenza ,at their farm home on route 1.


Funeral For Child Today


Mrs. White died a few hours after being brought to the city.


Funeral services for the child will be conducted at 3 o'clock today at the Herman H. Lohmeyer Funeral chapel. Burlal will be In St. Mary's cemetery under direction of Herman H. Lohmeyer.

F. M. Hall, age 85, died at his home 216 Second street, January 12. His death .was. caused, by influensa. Fu- peril services were held at the home, Monday afternoon, conducted by Rev. 6. K. Morley of the Nasarene church. Mr. Hall leaves & wife and dvoj daughtters and. three sons. V. B. Hall of Monett is a son .. Interment in L O. O. F. cemetery.

Frank Greable, who resides south of town, died last evening. He had flu and pneumonia. ·


John Montgomery, a retired Frisco engineer and old citizen of Newburg. passed away at his home here in Newburg Sunday morning. Funeral services weer conducted by Rev. 8. D Harlin of Rolla at the Newburg Chris- tian church and Interment was in the Newburg cemetery.


Mrs. Minnie Huskey of St. Louis, daughter of Mr. Ed Prewett died at her home in St. Louis and her body was brought here Wednesday. Funeral services were conducted by Rev. Floyd Hanks of the Baptist church at the home of Mr. Chas. Fulton and inter- was in the Newburg cemetery.

Funeral services of Mr. Marion Johnson who died at this home in St. Louis' were conducted at the Baptist church here Saturday afternoon by the pastor. Rev. Floyd Hanks. Inter- ment was in the Newburg cemetery.


The two weeks old son of Mr. and Mrs. P. C. 8mith of Marshall HILL. died Sunday morning. Interment at Cdd Fellows cemetery after services at the home conducted by the Rev. H. A. Jones, Monday.


N. 8. Wilcox 75. years of age. died January 12 at his home at 406 Lincoln avenue. Funeral services Monday af- ternoon conducted by Rev. F. B. Kinell.
