ROBBINS TO CONDUCT FUNERAL OF BOTHWELL


The Reverend Grant A. Robbins. superintendent of the Springfield dis- trict of: "the' Methodist: Episcopal church, will leave tonight for Bedalla where he will conduct the funeral services of John Homer Bothwell, his long-time friend.


Mr. Bothwell, who was 81 years of age when he died at his home. "The Lodge," north of Sedalla Sun- day night, was prominently known Throughout the state. He formerly was republican state chairman and was a candidate for the republican nomination for United States senator in 1904. He also was recognized 'as one of Bedalla's leading business man: The friendship between Dooto Robbins and Mr. Bothwell began in 1896, when the republican state con- vention wus held in Springfield. Mr. Bothwell was chairman of that con- vention Doctor Robbins went to Sedalla In 1909 as paster of the First Methodist church and the friendship of the two men became closer.
