' An Informal wedding which took place yesterday morning at 6 o'clock at the Benton Avenue M. E. church was that of Miss Kula Aldridge. daughter of Mr. and Mrs. David B. Aldridge, east of the city. to Mr. aufford White, of Highlandville, Mo. The single ring ceremony was trad by the Reverend Mr. James W. Hervey.


The church was gracefully ar- ranged with ferns and ollies pusitu plante and a variety of cut flowers. Preceding the ceremony Mrs. Stella Griffin sang "Oh. Promise Me." and "I Love You Truly." The piano ac- compartment" was played by Mia Theima Kelly of Amory, Miss, who also .played the wedding march.

Mr. Seifert came In Springfield from his birth place. Pacific. Mo., nearly 40 years ago Upon arriving here he obtained a posl- lion in a Com- Sellert mercial street book store where, he worked several years prior to ac- cepting a place in the old Spring- field bank on Commercial street. He worked for this concern until 1903 when he and a number of other Springfieldians established the Peo- ple's bank.

He was not only prominent in commercial circles but In civic and governmental affairs as well. He served two terms on the school board several years ago. During one of the terms he held the office of president of the board. He was also a former member of the city park board, having served under the ad- ministration of W. E. Freeman.


As a member of the Masonic order rito degrees and was an active mem- I ber of the Shrine. He took an active part on the building committee of the Gate of the Temple lodge dur. ing the construction of the temple on Boonville avenue several . yeara aro. At the time of his death he


had been treasurer of the associa - tion of that lodge for the past 15 years.


Funeral on Sunday


Funeral services for Mr. Belfert will e held at &t. John's Episcopal church at 3:30 o'clock next Sunday afternoon with the Reverend Lewis Robert Anschuts officiating. Burial will take place in Maple Park come- tery under the direction of J. W. Klingner.


He Is survived by his wife and two daughters, Missos Dorothy and Helen of the home address. Two brothers, Charjes Selfert of Parapae, Kan. abd Emli Belfert. of Kansas City and two disters also survive.

Price. 40. 2002 North Kansas avenue. The boy and his machine were thrown nearly 10 feet into the alr by the Impact of the collision and one side of Price'a car was caved In.


According to Dr Wallla Smith, who Attended the youth, A broken neck. badir crushed cheat. fractured ribe and other Injuries were allstained by the young man. He was taken in !h- Sospital in a W' L.
