The Council took into further consideration divers affidavits by which John Keating, captain of the artillery company in the village of Lansingburgh, stands charged with riotous and illegal conduct, and thereupon, Resolved, that the said affidavits be delivered to the attorney general to prosecute the said John Keating and the other person charged in the said affidavits with the offences therein men- tioned; and further, that an order be issued to Lieutenant Colonel (Derick) Lane of Lansingburgh to take the field pieces with their accoutrements into his possession until the Commander-in-chief shall give further order concerning the same.

RESOLVED, that the commissions of the officers which have been appointed to command the same be and they are hereby revoked and annulled.
