The Selectmen Defired M' Thomas Coollidge & M' Nath1. Harris Two of ye Selectmen to take Some proper Care of Martha Whitney to provide Some Convenant place for her, and to take care of Her Estate.
Ordered the Treafurer to pay to M' William Williams out of ye Grant made for ye Great Bridge at ye Laft Town Meeting the Sum of Twelve pounds to procure Metearells to Secure Sd Bridge. [98]

At a Meeting of ye Selectmen of Watertown aforesd at the Houfe of Nathanael Harris : it was agreed upon by ye Selectmen aforeSd, that Dea : Joseph Mafon Town Clerk Should forthwith give out a Warrant to one of the Conftables of Sd Town, to Warn John Far and Margret his Wife Henry and Abigail their Children that are at the Houfe of Allen Brown to remove out of Sd Watertown and that Caution be Entered Against the Sd John Far and Margret his Wife Henry & Abigail their Children At the Court of General Sefsions of the peace for the County of Middx. that the Sd Town may not be Expofed to Charge and Coft hereby. & ye Sd Dea : Joseph Mafon Town Clerk as afore sd is hereby ordered to per- forme as aforesd.

Said Far & Familie came Laft from ye Town of Bofton in ye County of Suffolk to sd Watertown Some time in ye Latter end of July Laft paft who now refides in ye Dwelling Houfe of Doctor Henry Hooper in sd Watertown the Selectmen Refuifing to Accept of sd Far Wife & Children to be Inhabitants of Watertown fearing they will Expofe ye Town to Charge.

Defired the Clerk to send a Notifycation of sd Meeting to ye Selectmen of Wefton.

At a meeting of the Selectmen of Watertown & Wefton at M' Thomas Harringtons of Watertown aforesd. to Adjuft the Charge that hath Arrifen on ye Account of ye Repairs of ye Great Bridge in sd Watertown, and After ye Accts. were Adjusted, It Appears yt Wefton had Difburfsed the Sum of 6 pounds Seven Shillings & 4ª more then their Proportion of ye Charge yt has Arrifsen Since Since ye Adjuftmt. of Acct. in the year 1729.
The Adjuftment was Confented two by ye Selectmen of both Towns.
