3. For the Town to take Effectual Care that the Schoolmafter be forthwith paid what is Due to him for his keeping of ye School in Sª Town.

To Informe the Town that the Towns Way, Laid out for the Ufe of the Town begining at the North Highway above Dea : Wm Browns Leading a Crofs to ye Meeting houfe has been Shut up; And Lately opened again by a Committee Impowered by a Justice of ye peace, which Committee has been Sued by Deacon Wm Brown ; And for the Town to Act their pleafure with Relation to Sd Town way.
5. To hear the Petition of Jonathan Stone Henry Bright John Coollidge with Sundry others Inhabitants of Sd Town who Petition that it may be one Article in the Warning of ye Town Meeting viz. At a meeting of ye Selectmen of Watertown, on the firft Day of September 1731 Ordered that there be a Town Meeting on the Ioth Day of Sep'. Currant At the Publick Meeting houfe in the Eaft Precinct of Sd Town, at Two of the Clock in the after noon for the Ends following. viz To hear the reprefentation of the Honourable Houfe of Reprefentatives of the Publick State of the Province which is now Laboured und'. And recommended to the Several Towns in this Province by Said houfe for their Serious Confideration. Ordred the Clerk to Isue out Warrants to the Several Conftables of sd Town Accordingly.
At Sd Meeting the Selectmen Defired M' George Lawrance to procure a p' of Britches and a Hat for Ep™. Smith.
Ordred the Town Treafurer to pay for the Same Agreable to the Grant of ye Town made for that End.

You are hereby required forthwith to warn the Freeholders and other Inhabtts. in the Eaft Precinct of Sd Town who are Quallifyed to Vote in Town Affairs to meet at the Publick Meeting houfe in Sd Precinct on fryday the 10th Day of September Currant at two of ye Clock in the After noon for ye End following viz. To hear the reprefentation of the Honourable Houfe of Reprefentatives relating to the publick Estate of Affairs of this Province Now laboured under which Reprefentation is recommended to the Several Towns by Sd House for their Serious Confideration. And for the Town to give their Advice or Directions with relation to Sd Affairs Laboured under.
