To know ye mind of ye Town if they Should not Se Caufe to Difpofe of all ye Lands as aforesd yt Lyeth to ye Ways in sd Town, whether they will Sell & Difpofe of Some perticuler Spotts and Notches of Land to thofe whofe Lands Adjoine thereto, there being Such in many places if Sold would make the ways more Beautifull & Uniforme then they Now are.

At a Meeting of ye Selectmen at M's Learneds on ye 20th of Sep'. 1734. Agreed to Meet again at Mrs. Learneds on ye Seventh of Octobr. Next at three of the clock after noon to Confult what is proper to be done for the Security of ye Great Bridge, Defired ye Clerk to Send a Notifycation to ye Selectmen of Wefton to Defire their Company at sd Meeting that they might give their voice in sd Affair.
At Sd Meeting the Selectmen having taken the poor Circum- ftances of Obadiah Coollidge & his Familie into their Confidera- tion and it Appeared to the Selectmen that ye sd Obadiah Coollidge is Not able (without the Charritie of Neighbours or help from ye Town) to Supporte his Familie, The Selectmen Came into the following Conclufion. viz That ye sd Obadiah Coollidge (He Defiring ye Same) do within the Space of one Month from this date, Provide good places (that ye Selectmen Shall Approve off) to put and bind out his Children to, vizt. Jofiah Lydia Isaaik & Rachal and in cafe He Shall Neglect and refufe so to do, ye Selectmen (as in duty bound) will put them out Agreable to ye Directions in the Law. Ordred ye Treafurer to pay to ye Wid". Susanna Coollidge out of ye Money paid in to ye Treafurey by Dea: Fiske ye Sum of fourty Shillings it being for Nurfing Obadiah Coollidges Familey in the time of y' Distrefsing Sicknefs.
At a meeting of ye Selectmen of Watertown and Wefton at Mrs. Learneds on ye Seventh of Octobr. 1734. Agreed that there be provided for ye Great Bridge, viz. for the heither peer three Mafts and King pofts and braces and all other Such pieces Necefsary for the rebuilding of it And that there be provided for the Middle peer Two Mafts and all the Under Timber Needfull but Mud Sells.
The Selectmen Defired M'. William Williams to Provide ye Mafts. Agreed that the Selectmen of Wefton procure the reft of ye Timbr. for Sd Bridge. Sª Timber to be good white Oak Timb'. and as cheep as they can. The Selectmen Defired M' Wm Wil- liams to take care and Enfpect the Bridge and do what is proper for prefent Security, till further Order. Agred to procure three hundred of good three Inch plank Agred with Dea": Benj". Brown to provide sd plank at Thirty Shillings # hundred at the Bridge.

Next at one of ye Clock afternoon, for ye Ends following vizt.
I. To hear the Accts. of Sundry Perfons to whom the Town is Indebted to.
2. To Grant money to pay and Satisfy Sd Accts. and to Grant Money to Support the Grammer & Englifh Schools in sd Town ; the Support of ye poor, and the repairs of ye Great Bridge in sd Town. &c.
3. To hear the pleas of Some of ye Late Conftables who Defire ye Town to Abate Some Perfons Rates in their Lifts of Rates.
You are Likewife required to Notify Such #fons to whom ye Town is Indebted to bring in their refpective Accts. to ye Selectmen at ye Houfe of M' Saltmarth on fryday ye Sixth of Decemb'. Next at 2 of ye Clock after noon in ord' to have them Laid before ye Town, if they Expect to have money Granted to pay them. Hereof fail not and Make return of this Warrant and Your doings thereon to ye Town Clerk Seafonably before ye above sd Sixth day of Decembr. Dated at Watertown the 25 Day of Novemb'. A.D. 1734.
