Whereas Sundery unhapy Differances have of Late rifen in the town of Watertown refpecting the highways and private ways in Sd. town which if Not Speedily remedied, may be of Very Ill Con- cequence to our Selvs and pofterity ; we Do there fore for an Ami- cable Isue of Sd. Differances Agree and Accordingly Vote, that all Disputs and Controverfies that have arifen or may arife touching the Lands in this town Lying as ways or reputed as Such, and touching the Dispofition of the proceeds of the Sale of any Such be Reffered to the final Determination of the Honourable Thomas Graves, Frances Foxcroft, and Sam" Danfourth Esqrs. or the Major Part of them


Alfo that the Court of the General Sefsions of the peace be be requefted to appoint the Gent™. before Named a Comtee., to take a View of the Sd. Lands and ways and make reporte whether the Sd. ways Should remaine as Origenally Left or be Contracted in there wedth, the reporte of the Committee being Excepted by S. Court to be an Isue of all Controverfies whatfo ever touching the Same
