Mr. Lynch was born in Canada but became an' American oltizen. He was to years of age. If's death was caused by gangrene in one 'of his feet due to an Infection about 12 years ago from wearing colored socks. When in the early 90's Mr. Lynch road stories of the wonders of Mar- vel cave he became so interested! coat 'he came to the Ozarks to visit ; the cave. From that time his love for the cave was a compelling force in his Mfe. He purchased the cave and for several years spent only part of his time there, making frc- quant trips to Canada.


BEFORE RAILROAD DAYS

Mrs. J. T. Mason, 48 years old. of Galena, Mo., dled yesterday morn- ing after a brief Illness In a local hospital. The body was forwarded yesterday afternoon by the Herman H. Lohmeyer Funeral home to da- lena for burial. She is survived by the' husband, four daughters, Misses Eura, Mamio, Wilda and Jesale, and one son, Ralph, all of the home address; and by three sietere, Mrs. Reida Tooley, of Centertown, Ky., Mr. Jennie Eutsler, of Galena, and Mrs. Jessle .
