CASSVILLE. Mo., Aug. 27. -- (8pe- cial ) --- Murrell Harman of Kansas City committed suicide a: 10 o'clock yesterday morning at the home of his brother-in-law. Sheriff Hugh Brixey. by shooting himself in the head. us- Ing the sheriff's pistol. He had been suffering from . nervous breakdown from too close application to his work and had not been able to work for several months.
Mr. Harman came here Thursday night and spent the night at the [ Brixey home. Bheriff Brixey and bis : deputy. Walter Ballee, were together in the sitting room of the Brixey home yesterday morning when Mr. Harman went into a bedroom. Pick- ing up the sheriff's pistol, he placed Il against his left temple and fired. death being Instantaneous.
