CORONER TO HOLD NO INQUEST OVER BOY
. An Investigation by Coroner Jewel Windle into the death of Noble Hughes 10-year-old Ath Grove youth, com- pleted this morning. resulted in a decision not to have an autopsy and inquest Into the death.
The coroner's investigation siso ro- malted in Prosecutor W. W. Hemlin Indicating that charges of woond de- gree murder against Millard Robinett. 18. also of Ash Grove, may.br dropped by Prosecutor W. W. Hamlin.
In rimming up his Investigation the coroner's report mys:
. "The body of the deceased buried November 26, 1927, #t Ash Omre. An autopsy would show a condition of nephritis and a weak- ened heart condition, but would not show evidence of acute alcoholism. sald opinion being based upon the assumption that no liquor had been partaken of by the deceased since November 12. 1927. Furthermore. there is no evidence that the de- ceased had any liquor during that time. Furthermore, too long a lapse of time occurred between the suppos- ed drinking of November 12 and the onset of symptoms, to justify suspi- cion of poison liquor contributing to the death. Furthermore, case history by Dr. C. H. McHaffie justifies In every detail the deceased's return of uremic conrfusions causing death.
"This opinion is based upon case history borne out. by consultation which leads me to the conclusion that a disinterment and an autopsy would reveal nothing other than what has been clinically diagnosed, and fur- thermore. would not assist in deter- mining that liquor poisoning was & contributing factor to death."
