MRS. RACHEL BLEVINS DIES AT HER HOME HERE


Mrs. Rachael Blevins, 75, born and reared in Greene county, died at her bome near here last night following lingering iliness. She was a daughter of Jess Hall, one of the partient settlers in the Ozark region who came here from Alabama long before the Civil war.


She is survived by three daugh- tom and three sons, Mrs. Maggie Hill, Mrs. Della White and Mrs. Lolia Ryan, all of Springfield; W. F. Blevins of Springfield and J. A. and Elmer Blevins of -Oklahoma. Bho' also is survived by 10 "grand- childers and. 11 greatgrandchildren.

J. A. Craft, 64, retired farmer of Richland, Mo., died at 4:15 o'clock yesterday afternoon at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Myrtle Long, 631 West Webster street. The body will be sent this morning to Richland by the Alma Lohmeyer funeral home, and burial will be at 1 o'clock this afternoon at the Glaize City cema- tery. He was at one time connected with the Engelking and Grubel Cigar Manufacturing company and was a member of the Cigar Manufacturers' association, the Modern Woodmen of America, No. 4975, the Court of Honor and the German Brotherhood. The bride wore a frock of Venetian blue crepe Elizabeth with accessories to harm- onize and she carried a shower bou- quet of pink roses. Her only at- ' tendant was her cousin. Miss Mar- 'vel Mae Elsey, who wore silver grey satin with a corsage of pink rose- buds. Mr. Wall was attended by Mr. Melvin Wright as best man.
