ARTICLE 3.
Voted 313 in favor and 128 opposed to appro- priate from available funds, the sum of $50,000 .- 00 for the payment of the purchase price or land damages in acquiring the land owned suppositive- ly by Dennis L. Laubner, described in the preced- ing article, together with the legal, engineering and other services and expenses incidental there- to.
A motion to reconsider action on this article was defeated.
ARTICLE 4.
Voted unanimously to authorize and instruct the Board of Selectmen to acquire by purchase, by eminent domain, or otherwise, for school pur- poses, certain land in Lynnfield owned supposi- tively by Melch Bros. Corporation, bounded and described as follows:
Beginning at the northwesterly corner of the premises at a stone bound set on the southerly side-line of Essex Street at the easterly end of a curved line in said street, the radius of which is 708.62 feet;
Thence easterly by the southerly side-line of said Essex Street a distance of 165 feet, more or less, to the approximate center line of said Essex Street as it existed previous to the alteration and relocation of 1956;
Thence southwesterly by said center line a dis- tance of 225 feet;
Thence northeasterly by said old Essex Street and following the remains of an old wall a dis- tance of 76 feet to a stone bound at the point of beginning.
Containing approximately 4600 square feet of land.
ARTICLE 5.
Voted unanimously that the Town appropriate from available funds in the Treasury the sum of $1.00 for the purchase of the land owned supposi- tively by Melch Bros. Corp. described in the pre- ceding article, together with the legal, engineer- ing and other services and expenses incidental thereto.
All articles in the Warrant having been acted on, the meeting was declared adjourned "Sine Die" by the Moderator.
