For past thirty years teacher and lecturer on art, first at Princeton University, later, for four years, director of art schools of New York Met. Museum of Art; founded the Artist-Artisan Institutes of New York and of N. J., and has since ex- tended his educational and art courses over the country; and during winter of 1906-07 re- newed his public lectures in N. Y. City at the Art Students' League. Has traveled widely. One of associate editors of The Arena Magazine.
