1725, Jan. 11. The Town Council ordered that Edward Boss, eldest son of deceased, should have the land, he paying proportional sums to brotu- ens and sister.
1725, Sep. Suit was brought by Henry Knowles Jr. and Susannab, his wife, daughter of Edward Boss, deceased, against Edward Boss, of New- port, for £140, due for a fifth of homestead of 154 acres.
