A declaration was made by John Sweet, that James Reynolds, Sr., made a deed of gift to daughter Deborah and her husband John Sweet, of a negro girl Betty, but that afterwanis ie gave Betty freedom when she should arrive at thirty years of age, and to this John Sweet and bu. wife consented. Allusion was also made to the will of James Reynolds.
